Eating Out in Le Touquet - the Best Selections

Eating in Le Touquet

One thing is sure - there is no limit on restaurant choice in Le Touquet. Our own preference is to eat well prepared traditional French cuisine in a Brasserie style atmosphere -- nothing pretentious, just a warm and friendly ambiance. One of the many restaurants that fit this description is the 'Les Sports', 22 Rue St Jean, right in the town centre - you will eat and drink well here.

For Gourmet cuisine the top choices are the 'Pavillon' Michelin star restaurant at the Hotel Westminster or Flavio's just next door. Both have long and brilliant reputations for fine French cuisine but if you're looking for good traditional food eaten in a less formal setting try 'le Village de Suisse' restaurant - fine cuisine, nice atmosphere, good value. Of course the French are also adept at Moroccan cooking and there is a couple that run the 'Marrakech' at 75 rue de Metz who provide some very tasty, authentic, and freshly prepared food in a pleasant setting.

An insider's view - as we mentioned earlier, selecting where to eat from the huge number of restaurants in Le Touquet can be quite a challenge and keeping an assessment continually up to date requires extensive ongoing consumption.
