If you like 'alternative' you'll love this place.

Our Opinion

The exuberant Mr. Darmon from Marseille has taken a very different approach to his Le Touquet guest house and if you like 'alternative' and we do, you'll love this place. Not a hotel but large house converted to 5 atmospheric suites each decorated and furnished with a theme - 'Hong Kong', 'Marrakech', 'Bangkok', 'Dehli’ and 'New York'. Mr. Darmon has gone to great lengths - importing furniture, subtle lighting, tiles, fabrics etc and has achieved an astounding result. The rooms are all very spacious, well kept, with excellent bathrooms and a pleasure to be in - if you can work with it. A very quaint and private spa area in the basement. 'Bangkok' has a really steep stairway. Just off town centre in fairly quiet area - 200 yards to beach. A serious romantic option. Scores high on tripadvisor we like it very much too
